Defensor Mk5 - the steam humidifier with unique scale management

The electrical Defensor Mk5 steam humidifier is designed to meet the highest requirements in control accuracy and operation with drinking water or fully-deionised water. It is used for the fully-automatic generation of depressurised, mineral-free and hygienic steam. The Defensor Mk5 can be connected to all commercially-available humidity controls and humidity sensors.

The unique, patented scale management system enables easy and rapid servicing during extremely long operating cycles.

Scale management:
The minerals which are produced during the evaporation process are collected in the easily-accessible scale collector tank. This ensures a much longer service life than is usual with conventional units. Rapid, simple servicing saves costs and reduces operating interruptions.


Control accuracy:
The technology utilised in the Mk5 is based on a high control quality. Control accuracy of up to ± 1% r.h. is possible.

Unit range:
The Mk5 Visual is a unit envisaged for use in all cases, whereas the Mk5 Process is used where an extremely high control quality is required.

Humidifier capacities range from 5 kg/h to 80 kg/h per system. Heating voltages other than 400V/3~ are also available, along with accessories and options adapted to suit customer requirements.
